Our client, a Luxury Hotel in Shanghai is currently looking for FOM for their hotel.
This role will report to: Director of Rooms (DOR)
Job Requirements:
Nationality: Native English speaker or Caucasian.
Experience: Previous experience in a Front Office Manager role in a luxury hotel.
Skills:
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in managing front office operations, including guest services, check-ins/check-outs, and room assignments.
Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve guest complaints efficiently.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in hotel management software. Note that the hotel is currently experiencing technical issues with their systems, so problem-solving skills and technical acumen are important.
Language Skills:
Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all front office operations, ensuring high standards of service and guest satisfaction.
Lead and motivate the front office team, providing training and development opportunities.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences.
Manage room inventory and coordinate with housekeeping for room readiness.
Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
Monitor and maintain front office budgets and financial performance.
Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and standards.
