Our client, a Luxury Hotel in Shanghai is currently looking for FOM for their hotel.
This role will report to: Director of Rooms (DOR)

Job Requirements:

  • Nationality: Native English speaker or Caucasian.

  • Experience: Previous experience in a Front Office Manager role in a luxury hotel.


Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient in managing front office operations, including guest services, check-ins/check-outs, and room assignments.

  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve guest complaints efficiently.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in hotel management software. Note that the hotel is currently experiencing technical issues with their systems, so problem-solving skills and technical acumen are important.


Language Skills: 

  • Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all front office operations, ensuring high standards of service and guest satisfaction.    

  • Lead and motivate the front office team, providing training and development opportunities.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences.

  • Manage room inventory and coordinate with housekeeping for room readiness.

  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and effectively.

  • Monitor and maintain front office budgets and financial performance.

  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and standards.
