We are seeking a high-caliber Executive Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping operations at a prestigious resort hotel in Shanghai.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in luxury hospitality, experience with opening hotels, and the ability to establish SOPs and operational frameworks from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee housekeeping, linen/laundry, lost & found, and public areas, ensuring top-tier cleanliness and guest experience.
Develop and implement housekeeping SOPs and policies, optimizing efficiency and service standards.
Lead and manage a team of 160 full-time staff, fostering a high-performance culture.
Handle unique operational challenges, including managing cleaning schedules in a family-oriented hotel with extended room turnaround times.
Ensure strict quality control in a fully in-house housekeeping model (not outsourced).
Manage vendor relationships, budgeting, and cost control to align with financial targets.
Collaborate closely with internal departments to maintain a seamless guest experience.
Key Requirements:
5-star luxury hotel experience, preferably from renowned brands
Hotel opening experience is highly preferred, with expertise in setting up housekeeping operations.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to optimize labor and workflow efficiency.
Hands-on problem solver who can adapt to complex operational environments.
Fluent in Mandarin and English.
