An Luxury Hospitality group in Macau is looking for a MEP duty chief Engineer
Responsibilities:
Monitor and maintain the normal operation of all MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) plants and equipment within the complex to ensure they are operated in a safe and efficient manner.
Coordinate and supervise planned maintenance activities carried out by contractors and in-house technicians for building services, systems, and equipment to meet required objectives.
Lead a team of MEP Duty Managers and Supervisors to deliver quality mechanical, electrical, and structural repairs of the facilities complex.
Direct Managers and Supervisors on routine maintenance and urgent repair works in accordance with sound engineering practices and occupational health and safety regulations.
Conduct on-site inspections and monitor work progress, ensuring contractors' compliance with required specifications and standards.
Estimate job duration and assess manpower, materials, tools, and equipment required for the job.
Ensure an adequate stock of spare parts is maintained.
Analyze defects of MEP plants and equipment, initiate corrective actions, and develop on-site training curriculums for apprenticeship programs.
Perform ad-hoc tasks as required, maintaining constant communication with customers and developing plans for better service.
Continuously enhance service and maintenance levels to provide optimal solutions for any issues in the Casino area.
Strengthen communication within internal departments and partners to provide a better gaming environment for guests.
Complete and provide all regular reports and statistics required by Senior Management of Property Operations.
Maintain an efficient record and filing system as necessary.
Demonstrate thoughtful decisions in high-pressure environments and be responsible for the actions, results, successes, and failures of the team.
Work on call 24 hours/day if emergencies arise.
Oversee the purchasing and inventory function and manage service contracts for facilities maintenance and other required services from outside contractors.
Anticipate needs, prevent and solve problems, change goals and direction quickly, manage people, projects, time, and quality, motivate and lead staff with diverse skill levels, multi-task, and set priorities.
Requirements:
At least 8-10 years of job experience in related areas such as Electrical, Mechanical & Environmental Engineering, including 4-5 years of management experience.
Good supervisory and communication skills.
Ability to work well under stressful conditions and time constraints.
Fluent in English, Mandarin
Ability to work on shift is preferred.
