Director of Sales and Marketing - High-End Hotel (Hangzhou)

A prestigious new high-end hotel in Hangzhou is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Sales and Marketing (DOSM) to lead its marketing and sales efforts. 

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in luxury hospitality and be responsible for driving sales, enhancing brand awareness, and ensuring the hotel’s market position. The DOSM will oversee the Marcom Director and work closely with the Director of Events to deliver high-end catering services.    

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve the hotel’s revenue goals.

  • Lead and manage the sales and marketing team, including the Marcom Director and Director of Events.

  • Identify and target key market segments to drive business growth.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.

  • Oversee the development and execution of marketing campaigns to enhance brand awareness.

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges.

  • Collaborate with the General Manager to align sales and marketing strategies with the hotel’s overall objectives.

  • Ensure the highest standards of customer service and guest satisfaction.

  • Manage the sales and marketing budget effectively, optimizing ROI on marketing spend.

  • Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Director of Sales and Marketing in the luxury hospitality industry.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English and Mandarin.

  • In-depth knowledge of sales and marketing principles, strategies, and best practices.

  • Ability to develop and execute successful sales and marketing campaigns.

  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets.

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with high-profile clients and stakeholders.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
