Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the pastry kitchen.
Ensure the highest quality and consistency in the preparation and presentation of pastries and desserts.
Lead and mentor a large team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Develop new and modern techniques to enhance the pastry offerings.
Create visually appealing and innovative desserts that align with the brand's luxury standards.
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and safety standards.
Demonstrate patience and the ability to coach and develop kitchen staff.
Adopt a hands-on approach to all aspects of the pastry kitchen operations.
Utilize strong management and organizational skills to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
Strong background in luxury hospitality, preferably in 5-star hotels or high-end branded shops.
Proven experience in managing and leading large teams.
Ability to thrive under the pressure of a large-scale operation.
Artistic ability to produce visually stunning pastries and desserts.
Innovative mindset with a creative approach to food.
In-depth knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and safety standards.
Excellent management and organizational skills.
Patience and strong coaching abilities.
Preferred Experience:
Experience in Japan, Singapore, USA, Europe, or other regions in Asia.
Asian working experience background is highly desirable.
