We are seeking an experienced Chef de Cuisine to lead the kitchen team at famous retail brand Caffe Beijing, ensuring the highest standards of culinary excellence and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-end dining and be ready to manage kitchen operations for a luxury brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Kitchen Operations: Oversee all aspects of kitchen management, from food preparation to presentation, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation of all dishes.

  • Menu Creation: Develop and innovate seasonal menus aligned with the brand’s luxury image, focusing on high-quality ingredients and modern techniques.

  • Staff Management: Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain high culinary standards. Manage scheduling, performance, and continuous development.

  • Ensure Hygiene and Safety Compliance: Enforce strict hygiene, food safety, and HACCP standards to ensure safe and clean working environments.

  • Cost Control: Monitor food costs, waste, and inventory, ensuring the kitchen operates within budget and achieves profitability goals.

  • Collaborate with Front-of-House: Work closely with the restaurant management team to ensure smooth communication and coordination between kitchen and service.

  • Support Expansion Plans: As the Hong Kong restaurant opens in mid-2025, assist in the training and preparation for the new location and its culinary team.

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine in high-end dining or luxury restaurants.

  • Strong background in managing a diverse kitchen team, preferably with international experience.

  • Exceptional knowledge of modern cuisine techniques, food safety standards, and cost control.

  • Creative, with an eye for presentation and ability to craft innovative menus.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is a plus, but not mandatory.

  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, luxury environment.
